Qualifications:
Education/Training:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years Manufacturing Engineering experience.
Physical Demands:

Basic Function:
Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to AS 9001.
The Manufacturing Engineer II is a technical expert, applying their education, experience and expertise in the launch of new product designs into manufacturing, to drive process improvements and to solve manufacturing problems.
Role and
Responsibilities:
Promotes teamwork, cooperation and commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction.
Interprets complex mechanical drawings, schematics and technical specifications to evaluate product designs to develop manufacturing work instructions, processes, routers, procedures and test protocols.
Develops prototype/pilot manufacturing builds to test and evaluate product and process designs and revisions.
Works in close collaboration with other engineering teams, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Quality in the launch of new products and the manufacturing support and improvement of existing products.
Develops and designs tools and fixtures, researches and specifies manufacturing machinery, equipment and systems.
Creates and maintains accurate mechanical drawings, schematics, technical specifications and manufacturing process documentation.
Provides documentation and training on assembly methods, test procedures and production equipment.
Conducts failure analyses to resolve manufacturability or quality issues.
Provides technical assistance in matters of applications, products, materials, equipment and processes.
May travel up to 10% to visit customers, vendors, suppliers, other company locations, affiliates, attend technical meetings, trade shows or conferences.
Performs other related tasks and duties, as assigned.
